The CEO at Rockland Trust wanted to implement a search tool that would make it easy for customers to find different Rockland Trust Bankers. However, due to limitations with the content management system, Banno, we were having difficulty implementing a search tool. Having worked with 3 Media Web with a previous employer, I suggested that we hire the web agency to develop a search locator tool that could be integrated onto the Rockland Trust website without changing the CMS.
Throughout the design and discovery process, I created variations of high-fidelity wireframes that were presented to the team at 3 Media Web. These wireframes focused on layout of the search locator tool for both mobile and desktop, and were great for communicating the design vision. Before beginning the development process, I also turned the wireframes into an interactive prototype to help 3 Media Web understand the functionality of the search locator tool.
I spearheaded this project during all phases of delivery from concept to launch. I worked closely with 3 Media Web's backend developers, senior project manager, and directly with the CEO to monitor and test the functionality of the search locator tool. 3 Media Web built the Find a Banker application as a separate PHP/HTML application, which allowed me to embed the application via an iFrame on a web page within the Banno CMS. Additionally, the web agency also developed a customized admin dashboard that makes it easier to enter in banker data and profiles.
After nine weeks of work, the Rockland Trust Bank website now features a user-friendly Find a Banker search tool which includes search parameters such as Banker name, Banker location, Proximity, and Specialties to simplify the search process for visitors to the website.
