I collaborated with the Rockland Trust Investment Management team to turn RocklandTrust.com/Wealth&Investments into a distinct destination to promote the full extent of the team, expertise, products, services, and thought leadership. It was important that the new web pages highlight the bank's personal approach to wealth management.
Project highlights include:
Throughout the collaboration process, I created variations of high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes that were presented to the IMG team on a weekly basis. The wireframes focused on the page layouts for both mobile and desktop, and were great for communicating user flow and the design vision.
I spearheaded the development and deployment process with the our vendor, Jack Henry, who is responsible for building page templates in our content management system, Banno. I worked closely with Jack Henry's backend development and project managers to QA test these templates in a UAT environment, along with checking the designs to make sure they were meeting ADA compliance standards. Once the templates were deployed to our production environment, I leveraged my front-end development skills by creating these pages in the Banno CMS.
When the destination was launched, I set up 301 redirects so that the previous web pages would direct traffic to the new pages. To monitor page performance and user bahavior, I created manual heatmaps and set up the sessions recordings feature in Hotjar. I also learned how to create tags in Google Tag Manager in order to track new events in Google Analytics.
